Satellite Radio Accessories — Antennas & Car Kits
Two leading antenna manufacturers, Terk and Antenna Specialists, have worked
closely with XM to ensure that XM customers will have a variety of attractive
antenna options from which to choose. Terk has developed both a low-profile roof-mount
and a glass-mount antenna for cars. Antenna Specialists has also developed a
glass-mount car antenna, as well as specialty XM antennas for the trucking and
boating markets. Pioneer, Alpine, and Sony have also each developed magnetic
mount XM antennas that will be available at retailers.

XM service
The XMDirect™ Universal Tuner Box is the XM tuner needed to work with
all XMDirect™ products. XMDirect™ Universal Tuner Box allows
users to receive digital XM Satellite Radio directly through a satellite
radio ready car stereo head unit. To complete the installation of an XMDirect™ system
the Universal Tuner box (XMD1000) must be installed with an XMDirect™ Smart
Digital Adapter
